Ever since I was a little girl I have loved to draw animals. I took that love and the God given talent with me to college and got my BFA in Art from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas 30 years ago. I have worked in the commercial art field as well as taught art in both the public schools of Texas and the private schools of Louisiana.I now live in Beaumont, Texas with my Mother and my dog Pugsly. My Mother is my bigest fan and Pugsly is my little muse.
For the last three years I have been supporting Pugsly and myself with auctions on eBay. I have had the pleasure of painting over 100 pet portraits since I first offered them on eBay in the fall of 2002. Most have been dogs, but a few have included cats, horses and even one roster.
Recently I have joined a group of artists that are producing trading card size art or prints and offering them to the open public. We call ourselves ACEO--Art Cards Editions and Originals.
