Because of the media, mainly pencil, the colors appear darker and duller than they really are. I guess pencil absorbs the light when scanned - I've noticed it before. When I saw the FOTM I thought I would not be able to enter this month. Fuchsias really have to be babied in this arid climate - especially now that we're on water rationing. (They need to dig a water channel from all those states that are flooded to California.) But I searched my memory, looked at some pictures, and after a couple of false starts here it is. I started with pencil, of course, then watercolor pencils, prismacolor pencils, added watercolors and inks, and finally acryllics. Hope you like it..... (This item is currently available on eBay.)
