Media:  oils on stretched canvas
Dimensions:  16x20
Date of Work:  2005

To be included in the WIP (Work in Progress) Unfinished Art EBSQ show 2008. I had to wipe the dust off of this piece, for I started in the fall of 2005 in my oil painting group, and it's been languishing in my garage the past few years. It was not done from life as we usually do, but from a photograph I had of a lovely lemon still life setup. As is usually the case, I did not finish the piece in class, unfortunately. I have always wanted to finish it, as I loved the purples and blues contrasted with the yellows of the lemons. But, although it is good sometimes to walk away from a work for a while then see it with fresh eyes, if one stays away too long, the muse gets cold. Hoping to warm up to this piece again, and finish it.
