I am a mixed media artist from the West Texas area. I have a Bachelors degree in nursing and absolutely no formal training in art! But, I am constantly learning and educating myself in many techniques and styles of art. I am absolutely fascinated with bright colors and texture. I love all of the different mediums one can use as a "Mixed Media" artist. It does not lock me in to any one style. I love to inspire others to do art. This is very meaningful to me and I think it is my way of leaving some kind of pleasant mark on this earth. If someone else can experience the pleasure I do from either viewing my art or creating something inspired by my art...then, I have done what I have set out to do.

You will quickly notice I love bright colors and themes about life in general. I love collage and assemblage pieces.

My very favorite piece of art ever is "The Kiss" by Gustav Klimt. It is full of color and clever design and the romance is breath taking!
