I've always enjoyed creating things with my hands. I think it first started when I was 5, when I made a 3-D "universe" to accompany an astronaut toy figure I had. That project required a cardboard box, construction paper, markers and scissors.

I like to think I've made a bit of progress since then. Among the many hobbies I've picked up along the way, some of my favorites are sewing and sketching, but nothing has captured my attention like sculpting. As a child, I used to be able to play with clay for hours on end and recently realized, after buying clay for the first time in years, that some things never change.

I occasionally take sculpting courses and might venture into drawing classes as well. These days, I'm most happy when working in a small scale with polymer clays but do make larger pieces with other kinds of clay.

In addition to ebay auctions, I have items available in my Etsy store at www.bluevineyard.etsy.com.
