Mehndi is the art of applying Henna to the body as art. I use henna as a form of expression, decoration, and prefer it to tattoos because it lets me change my mind. I like drawing on the human body, it presents challenges and inspiration unlike any piece of paper I've ever drawn upon.

This piece was created on my husband's back, and photographed in our woods (out among our own wee green men, no less!) 2 days after application of the henna paste.
