Elisa Hirt was born in Queens, New York with a crayon in hand. She embarked on an arduous journey which led her through Lancaster, Pennsylvania and landed her in Central Texas in the summer of 2001.

She began a love affair with Pop Surrealism and Printmaking, which is reflected in her recent work. Her inspiration is drawn from her collections of books, toys, trinkets and whatnots.

Elisa is currently studying to earn a Bachelor of Fine Art Degree with a concentration in Studio Art at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton, Texas. Upon completion of her Bachelor Degree, she plans to continue on with her studies to earn a Master's Degree in Printmaking.

Elisa lives, works and plays in Belton, Texas.

In July of 2009, Elisa had some of her work published in the book titled, Anthology of Friends, Volume #5. This book features a collection of diverse artwork from very prominent artists that all met on the OvationTV Community web site.
