This is my entry for the EBSQ "Orange Show." It was a hard assignment for me to keep my palette to merly shades of orange since I love all bright rich saturared colors. Someone once told me that the color of my "Aura" was tangerine orange...I always thought that was so cool. "As a warm color orange is a stimulant — stimulating the emotions and even the appetite. Flamboyant and Energetic : Orange is vibrant. It's a combination of red and yellow so it shares some common attributes with those colors. It denotes energy, warmth, and the sun. But orange has a bit less intensity or aggression than red, calmed by the cheerfulness of yellow." This was definately a fun piece to paint.
