HELLO!! Glad you made it to my domain. From as far back as I can remember, my earliest childhood memories are of art. In middle school I knew my interest in artsy things was my niche--I remember drawing a copy of Salvador Dali's The Persistence of Memory in charcoal, and how proud I felt when I completed it. In high school and college, each time I'd complete an art assignment it was always kept and put on display. Now, encouraged to utilize my creative skills by teachers, family and friends, I've become very adamant in pursuing my goals as a full-time artist. I have been drawing and painting as a hobby for many years, and now it's time to push my talent to the limit!
With all of my work, I put forth my best effort into creating a design...internally, then transferring it onto a canvas. I like working with bold shapes and/or colors to create an unusual feel or a break from the normal perceived forms of artwork, although I have a tremendous interest in sky and space. Every now and then, I'm equally interested in the other elements as well. Amid all the challenges and discomfort in life, I've always found painting and drawing to be my "time out." Artist Statement: My art conveys endless inspiration, passion, representation and expression that attempts to go beyond what visual perception is. What is seen on canvas is a reflection of the world as I see and experience it--occasionally feelings and intuition construct various forms. The colors chosen and styles vary as often as my moods; I often dream of an image. I'm very blessed to have such a passionate talent and am proud to display it for others to admire.
