Manifest Destiny was a series of 3, and will be larger in time, devoted to the dichotomy between time as a construct of what is made by man's hand and what is destined to come together in one moment. In Trinity, I show atomic bombs of original US test date called Trinity in the center, Hiroshima, and Nagasaki on the outer perimeters, intermixed with thoughts, notes, and explanations of the scientists, victims, and witnesses to these events. The circular charts are natal charts for those exact times and places of these events, representing what is born out of chaos.

This piece was created using a build-up of paper, then painted with professional grade acrylic paints on 3/4" gallery wrapped canvas. The piece has painted edges, and is currently available for purchase as an original or as a print. Prints of this piece now available through Imagekind.Print & frame my art at Imagekind...
