This is my entry for the annual EBSQ Rip Off Show. I asked Torrie Smiley if she would team up with me. I just love her work, especially those wonderful martinis she paints. Neither one of us had ever participated before so that was an extra bonus. We are having fun and we'll be exchanging pieces. She's ripping my cupcake scratchboard.
I think I really got into the shape of the glass and imagined a lot of koy and chili peppers swimming around with the strawberry. I loved the abstraction of the reflections and wow...it's a whole world in there Torrie. No wonder you paint this stuff.
