My name is Deana Rackley and I am a self taught, self representing artist who paints portraits and fantasy themes. I have found a true love of painting portraits and capturing the reality. I paint in acrylics and watercolors and also love pencil drawing.
I have been drawing ever since I was a little girl starting out drawing my favorite characters on paper for my family ie: Garfield. I was always known as the girl that can draw.
My art has been featured in the 2004 artwanted calender and my originals have been sold all over the world and reside in private galleries.
My goal is to one day become a full time artist as my passion is for art. I own a hair salon and am a cosmetologist. Whether I am coloring hair or painting with a paintbrush, I am always creating some kind of art.
