This piece was a gift for a six year anniversary. It was my first bead embroidered piece, and I've learned a lot since then! To some people, it might seem creepy or odd to celebrate a relationship anniversary with a skeleton, but Mexican Day of the Dead imagery celebrates all aspects of life with skeletons.
