this book was filled with wonderfully textured pages. the owner had made them by covering CS with lots of paper scraps (including sandpaper in spots) and then going over that with gesso and modeling paste. I wanted to do something that played up the beauty of the rough and organic texture. it made me think of the beauty of Greek urns worn by time but still perfect and timeless. that led to thoughts of the female form. around the edges of these pages are various definitions of "Eternal". I added a fair bit of color to Jen's original texture, but it all fades back very subtly.
