James Pearson's modern paintings celebrate hope and optimism with a joyful mix of color, texture and flowing line. His original works have been collected worldwide and are in the permanent collections of three Nashville corporations. James' most recent commission hangs in the corporate headquarters lobby of Avenue Bank. This mural has been featured in both the November 2007 and December/January issues of Nashville Arts Magazine. His work is at established galleries in Nashville, Tennessee (www.tagartgallery.com); Swanson Reed Bardstown Rd. location, Louisville, Kentucky; and The Gallery At 916 (www.thegalleryat916.com) Bowling Green Kentucky. James Pearson has received professional development funding through the Kentucky Arts Council, a state agency in the Commerce Cabinet, supported by state tax dollars and federal funding from the National Endowment for the Arts, which believes that a great nation deserves great art.
