I have been creating art of some kind for as long as I can remember. I, like many other artists, was recognized for my talent at a very young age. When I was 4or 5 my mother entered me in a mother's day drawing contest at a local bookstore and my portrait of her won first place. I remember other children in school asking me to draw pictures for them.

I received my bachelor's degree in studio arts at Arizona State University. My artwork has been in galleries and juried shows and is in various private collections including grammy nominated recording artist Jesse Valenzuela of the Gin Blossoms.

I look to art as an escape. Whether I'm creating my own or admiring other artist's works, I want it to take me some place else .

I draw from my imagination of where I want to be at a moment in time. My themes involve spirituality, dreams and hopes.

Right now I enjoy drawing with soft pastels and am trying my hand at acrylic paints
