How long have you been creating?
I have been creating for a long time. I started out writing and illustrating a lot of childrens' stories and poetry when I was about 7 years. I then moved on to study advanced animation throughout high school, and now I do this..

What is your media of choice?
My preferred media are graphite, charcoal, and pretty much anything you can make a pencil out of.. my favorite pencils are the "MONO", by Tombow Japan.
Aside from that, I really love to go CG as well, in fact, it was my primary choice not very long ago. I love bright and beautiful colors.

What are you motivations for creating?
My motivation would be the desire and burning need to make sense to myself. I see and feel many things, and they need to make sense sometimes..

What other artists or movements inform your work?
I very much admire Bouguereau... To me, he is the Holy Grail. He is a master, and I can only wish to capture beauty as well as he does. His paintings were so real, it feels weird to call them "paintings", and not "scenes". and he did a lot of children and amazing Madonna's too.

What do you find visually stimulating right now?
Small children, pretty eyes, and chubby legs.
What's the last book you read?
I am not a very good reader. There are many amazing books, and I do wish I was able to sit and read one completely. If I am not drawing, my attention span is that of a squirrel road kill.

Tell us about your artistic goals for 2006.
I'm hoping to get in touch with more galleries. those unafraid of what's different. I am new to the show scene, and it is a lot of work, but hopefully after 2006, things will start to blossom. I love collaboration with other artists, and have been doing more of that this year. It is so beautiful what we can create when we combine.
I am also working on a book this year, "The Diary of Louis Camp".

What would you like your fellow EBSQ artists and our collectors to know about you and/or your work?
It's not so bad when you tilt your head slightly to the right and squint..
