I am mostly a self-taught artist, although I've taken workshops and some lessons.
I enjoy working with all kinds of media!
From watercolors & acrylics to pastels; I love painting on fun surfaces like gourds, canvas, silk or simple pieces of wood.
If I don't do art I am not happy.
When I was a little girl back in México my grandmother used to have a whole wall in her house just for me to paint on. What a treat!
For the past 13 years I have called California my home and live here with my husband, my two children and a fat spoiled cat.
I am very partial to and influenced by everything Latin.
Some of my favorite painters are Botero, Kahlo, Rivera and Martinez.
Every time I sit to paint , I love seeing the big blank space filling up with colors like magic.
