Recycled Watch Parts Steampunk Necklace

I love the Victorian aesthetic of Steampunk jewelry. I also love the idea of recycling and putting old bits to good use. The mechanical or industrial look is another wonderful aspect of Steampunk style. A recurring theme is watch faces, watch cases and other watch parts including gears.

I used an old watch part and added tiny gears, some chain and a vintage fan charm. I wire wrapped some rosebud beads to some copper chain for the necklace. Copper jump rings hold it all together.

The necklace is 18" long and the pendant is 3" long by 1 1/4" wide.
