Vintage Style Collar Necklace with Earrings

EBSQ Repurposed: Art from Recycled Materials Show Entry

Created from recycled plastic coffee packaging.

The collar piece and necklace straps are made from the lid. The dangles and the earrings are made with molded areas on the bottom of the container.

No matter how hard I try to buy in bulk and minimize the packaged items I buy, I still wind up with too much around the house and studio. I do like the color combination of this particular packaging so I decided to work that in to the design rather than try to alter the color.

Necklace is 18" long and the collar portion is 2.25"

The earrings show the recycle logo and are 3/4" long on surgical stainless steel ear wires.
