I have found that art reflects life in many ways , not just for the artist but for the admirer of the art as well. What you are drawn to create expresses who you are and what you think most about. I feel that creative expression is an essential part of who we are and can bring a greater understanding of yourself.

My passion for art has always been with me as was my love of animals and as a child I wanted to be a vet and an artist. When I left school art was the path I took as I realized there was way too much study in becoming a vet plus I couldn't bare to see animals in pain . After having a family I settled into an artists position of Art Director for a leading toy manufacturer ,creating designs for puzzles, books , games etc . This gave me experience in character design as well as graphic knowledge but it didn't satisfy my desire to create from my heart .

I have been freelancing now for 15 years painting what I love , fairies , animals , mythical beings , spirit realm and more recently portraits . I also teach children and adults how to paint and draw as I believe if the passion is in you to do it, you can be taught anything.
