Media:  Steel, Wood, Acrylic & Metallic Paint
Dimensions:  20 x 48 x 2
Date of Work:  3-2004

This piece was inspired by some wonderful childhood memories. Remember those really cool erector sets we used to play with? (YES girls played with them too!) Turning them "life-size" was exactly what I had in mind and the fun part......I got to use power tools! The painting was created on 3/4" wood panel with use of professional grade acrylics and metallic paints.

The three blue triangles represent some unforgettable moments of my youth, when you look at this piece think back to your childhood memories....I'm sure you have more than three but this number has deep meaning for me.

The frame will create mesmerizing shadows while the metallic paint will illuminate in a variety of different shades depending on the light and time of day.

Colors used are: Metallic Silver, White, Black, Beige, & Cerulean Blue.
