Media:  costume jewelry mosaic on wood
Dimensions:  10 " x 10"
Date of Work:  2007

I often comb thrift stores, garage sales and flea markets looking for items to include in my mosaics. I started making these mirrors with a lot of costume jewelry found at a flea market and some lots off of eBay. They are my newest obession.

Another thing I began acquiring was stamps over the past few years. I don't have many as I am not a stamp collector, but I love the little minature pieces of art many of the stamps hold. When I started making these mirrors I began adding stamps to them.

This mosaic was done on the infamous IKEA 10" mirror with handmade polymer clay tiles, glass beeds, jewelry findings, stamps under glass and my favorite little spacemen! Aren't they cute cute cute.

The mirror is finished in black felt on the back and is complete with hanging hardware and wire.

This mirror is currently available in my Etsy Store. You can use the link above - just under my name.

Price: $125
