I draw this style of design all the time. My business papers at my full time job, are often full of this design in the margins. I purchased some irridescent glass and decided to put this together with the glass and my doodles. I even carried the design over on the edges. I am not sure I will repeat that on future mosaics. I really cut my hands up handling the piece with the sides mosaiced.
