How long have you been creating?

I been creating for as long as i can remember,Thanks to my very supportive mother, who never put any limits on my creativity and imagination, I was exposed to art books and became fascinated with drawing what I could capture from them.

What, besides your art, brings you creative fulfillment?

I love to play with clay i been doing it for a couple of years now and i learn as i go.

Photoshop is one of my favorite things to do, i like to modified pictures of my paintings, i take hours just changing things to see how they look.

What are you motivations for creating?

I been ask this questions many times and i never have a good answer, i really don't know what motivates me to paint, i just love picking up a pencil and sketching my next painting, doing research to plan my next piece, i enjoy painting every waking hour, is one of the things that i will ever get bored of doing. One thing I'm sure about , I'm obsessed with eyes! as u can see on all my paintings.

How do you know when a piece you're working on is done?

I look at it from different views , close up , from far away, do some touch ups here and there, and its DONE! I also ask my husband ?so what do u think? sometimes he can see things i cant and i ask for his opinion all the time.

What do you find stimulating right now?

Children books, toys ,work from other artist, tattoos

Tell us a little about your work style: do you do a lot of projects at once? One at a time?

If its a big commission i try to work on that single painting as much as i can for as many hours as my body can handle, i get exited to finish a piece and i work really hard hour after hour to have it ready for my client.

When i work on small pieces i usually paint 5-6 even more at the same time, i have them all line up and i start with the eyes, then i change to the other one and so on till all the eyes are finish then i go back to the first painting so by the time I'm done with one I'm done with all 6 :)

Please share some of your artistic goals for 2008.

One of my goal was to open a tattoo shop/gallery with my husband and we had the opportunity to do it this year so now we are proud owners of 2 Dollar Pistol Tattoo Shop, we try to keep ourselves as busy as possible.

I have a feeling 2008 will be a fantastic year, with the coming of our first baby girl in spring, Publish work, Tattoo conventions, running our own Business and a few Art shows line up , we are as happy as we can be and we couldn't as for more.

What would you like your fellow EBSQ artists and our collectors to know about you and/or your work?
