This is one of my favorite subjects to paint - Bulldogs!..This piece is painted completely using only a pallet knife. I've never done a pallet knife painting before but have to say it was really a lot of fun! Like carving or sculpting with paint! It sure uses a LOT of paint, but I plan on doing more! It allowed a freedom of expression and surprises as you scrape thru the paint.
