My art is inspired by my experiences, but many are created as illustrations to my writings. I've had a deep love of words all my life. My love of words inspires me to incorporate my writing into as many other areas of my life as possible.
I truly love acrylics and oil pastels, but colored pencils and collage certainly run a close second. My love of art means that I'm also a collector. I love to examine the work of my peers, and my favorite works are usually those of new or little known artists... so don't hesitate to show off!
I believe in what I create. I love expressing myself through words and pictures, and I cherish each creation I make. The next best thing to creating my art is sharing it with the world. I am a firm believer in my own motto:
Art collecting is for everyone!
I believe that the only person who should determine what you consider art is... YOU. Not me, not your friends, not the art dealer who offers recommendations, just you. If it moves you—whether to laughter or tears—respect your own reaction!
And...
