This is mixed media mosaic done in my bathroom tub enclosure. My idea was to create a tranquil yet vibrant space where I could escape the normal noise of a busy household. My inspiration was 'spa music', and so I wanted to design a mosaic filled with movement, nature and a touch of mysticism. The mirror in the center of the ceiling is my portal to another universe where anything is possible. I have incorporated bits of bone china, glass beads and mirror tiles along with more traditional tile pieces in order to give the design texture and depth. Needless to say, I very much enjoy soaking in my tub and staring into the skyscape I've created. Thanks for taking a peek, too.
