Here's my interpretation of this scene: (You may have a better explanation, or may not need one to enjoy the painting. ) This is an abstract expressionist composition into which a hapless toy duck has landed. She is trapped by the barbed wire, and is losing the fight to hold her atomic structure together. Her outlines are fraying. The non ordinary world she now inhabits is taking its toll and will soon wear her down into basic shapes and textures.
