I've always had a passion to create pictures, even before I knew what 'art' was. I soaked up art in every class I could take in high school and college. I wasn't selling at that time and explored more practical skills that would still allow for creativity, like landscape gardening and furniture making.

In my 30's I went back and did a couple more years of college level graphic design classes and entered the corporate world as a product designer for a plush toy manufacturer. Since then I have been in various graphic art positions and currently design for a marketing firm in the California's Silicon Valley.

In the past few years I've found more time to paint for my own pleasure and I'm grateful to see long ignored brush skills coming back as I practice. And of course it feels good when someone sees fit to aquire something I did and make a new home for it.
