I am having so much fun with texture in my work right now. This painting began with a layer of texture over the entire canvas. When that was dry I layed down a layer of black gesso. I was then ready to go in with all the lucious paint. I used reds, oranges, yellows and browns on the foreground and trees. The sky is a mixture of browns, yellows and whites. There is so much vitality and life in this painting!
