This is my entry for the August 2006 Nibblefest Contest. The theme this month is butterflies.

I began this painting by collaging on the figure and the butterflies with printed paper. I then went in with acrylics and painted the background, features, hair and details of the figure and details of the butterflies. This was a new technique for me and I LOVED it. I will definately be doing more like this fun little painting!!
