This is an original lino block print. It all begins with a drawing...which is transferred onto a lino block (basically a very large eraser type material). Each character is hand carved into the block, then it’s printed on a prepared wood block. The image, in this case a sweet little lady, is hand painted with acrylic paints. Then it gets a bit crazy as I embellish with paper, paint, colored pencils, pens, text, or anything else that catches my eye.

This little painting is TINY and so sweet. It reminds me of the little photos you used to pass out to friends when you were in school.
