This is one of the first watercolor flowers I did. It was a journey of self-discovery, in technique and in learning the medium. This piece was the cover for The Rose Arts Magazine, and was showcased in the window at Sax Fifth Avenue, in a designers gown display on an easel. Not satisfied with one area, I took it back to the easel, and reworked it and then re-framed it in a hand-marbled italian mat between two cotton rag mats. It recently sold to a collector in Cal.
