The inspiration for this painting came from a tiny spontanious polaroid I took of a seated girl, (my lover's daughter), and the lighting, and peaceful demeanor of her hands was all that needed to be said about this captured moment at the Sitka center. This was first done as a smaller study, then later I painted this larger version.
