Primitive carvings on bone and in stone were some of the first art to be found. This painting was inspired by the study of primitive and prehistoric art. This pastel is done on AMAT, an ancient bark paper hand-made made by the Otomi Indians. It is the oldest known paper in the Western hemishere.
