This imagery materialized from my childhood memories.

I say childhood, but it's really from high school years when my family viewed me as the good niece. But my cousins always teased me that I was hardly a saint because I usually masterminded some of the more taboo activities that the superior members of the family would have absolutely disowned me for HA! Thus the legend of "Sister Erika, PP (Perpetual Pleasures).

I wanted a faded vintage look before I painted the piece, but as I proceeded to execute it, I began to enjoy the other worldly feel I was getting. I felt it was fitting that both the inspiration and final image were a bit skewed.
