"Reclining Nude" is a cubist oil on 30x40 stretched canvas. The artist has layed a textured foundation and then applied layers of oils to create this contemporary figurative cubist art. Texture is throughout this painting. Although the face is not very attractive and the body is not true to form I believe the figure has a sense of comfort and confidence about her.
