My name is Andrea Cammarata and I'm a self-representing artist who enjoys many aspects of the art world. I enjoy painting on wood, canvas, tile and other interesting surfaces.
I am an art history and communications major. And I have worked in different aspects of the art and video world in the last 20 years but I have arrived where I want to be most now.
Sometimes the work is bright and bold, sometimes dimensional, sometimes calm, sometimes happy. On my wood pieces and others, I am assisted with great talent by my husband! Joe (my hubby) is an art and design major. He was an art director for 20 years and is now working as a freelance artist and dappling in other forms of art and also has arrived to his comfort zone.
We are a husband and wife team that loves to create new and fun dachshund art. We have had the sheer delight and benefit of being owned by long dogs!
So we have had our own personal models through out the years and we hope that the love shows through in our art.
You never know what you are going to find, wooden creations, canvas, tile, sculptures, but one thing you can be assured of, they will always be happy and hopefully touch your heart.
