This piece was very satisfying to work with. It is the first time I have worked on felt, saturating the fibers with water, paint and ink, pressing into it leaving impressions and releasing fluid colors back to the surface. After everything was nearly dry and solid I "wandered" with a graphite pencil, leaving permanent depressions in the surface.
