Media:  Professional Grade Acrylics on Wrapped Canvas
Dimensions:  24x24x1.5
Date of Work:  1/2008

The Body Language series is a study of emotions. These subjects are naked not only physically but also emotionally exposed. In an effort to convey their emotions, attitudes, characteristics, I use colors and poses. The faces, and skin tones and clothing, are purposely omitted as to not confuse or sway the viewer. .

This particular Body Language painting emphasized the down tilted head - almost as if she's glaring at you. She also has a very confident pose with the shoulders slightly tilted back, and one hip forward. This painting features my "aura" background, which is a fade in/blending technique I use to show more emotion, or spirit.

This piece was the first of 2008. It is also the first painting done live in several sessions on my website.

This painting is SOLD.
