This is a Texas Wild Flower called a Wine Cup. The centers vary from orange to the lightest of pink. I'm sure they grow most places now besides here. I wanted to get a view of one that most people don't really get to see that often. Right before they die they spread their petals wide as if for a last attempt to show off their beauty. Normally they are closed up and look simple like a wine cup.
