Years ago, I picked these flowers from my mother's garden to take indoors to her. It was a beautiful bouquet, so I photographed it. Today I finished this small painting of those flowers, using those old photos to refresh my memory. Maybe someday I'll paint the entire arrangement, but for today, I'm offering this small study. This portion of the bouquet features two roses, and a single Rose of Sharon.
