This is the second in a series of collages based on the fine art of John Singer Sargent. The portrait of the young woman reminds me quite dramatically of an acquaintance in the Boston (MA) area. The opposing colors in the background are part of this theme. The quotation from Carrie Fisher, applies as gel image transfer, says, "I don't want life to imitate art. I want life to be art."
