Glastonbury is a magical, glorious town in England, and the Tor is among many wonderful places to visit. One sunny morning in May, I took the photo that inspired this painting. This oil painting is both an impressionistic representation of the photo, and an allegory. There are many delightful places to stop before you reach the top of the Tor where the view is greater than you might imagine. But, that vantage point provides an opportunity to understand the landscape far better.
