. My name is Nico (Nicole Niemi) and I've been drawing and painting my whole life, but only recently started selling my artwork on Ebay. I'm 28 and live and paint here in Wisconsin. Inspiration for my fantasy creatures and scenes comes from real ones for the most part. I have a border collie, three siamese cats, a ball python and fishtanks in every room of the house that have looks or actions that carry into my art. I've had, studied, and cared for many types of birds and reptiles in my life, and I think the best way to create believable creatures that dont exist, is to watch the behaviors of ones that do. I try to create something like a window to a world where dragons and other fantasy creatures live and carry out lives of their own. I hope you enjoy looking out that window as much as I do.
