This is a photo of my friend Ron, taken through one of those walls made from glass bricks. The distortion is 100% natural and by chance. We were at the Berryvale Grocery in Shasta, California - Ron was outside and I was inside. He put his face up to the glass and I snapped. This was the outcome. As creepy as it is, this distortion was not done with a software program. It was the glass. I chose this for the Motion themed exhibition because you can almost see the face moving - melting - changing shape. It is very fluid and organic looking, and this visage would make for a great alien in a bizarre film or theatrical performance.
