Date of Work:  2008

This is my daughter Elizabeth's cat Pal who she adopted from the King County Humane Society when he was nine years old grown and was displaced when his owner moved to a nursing home. Elizabeth said, "..he was the last cat I saw because he was on a bottom cage in a corner. I knew as soon as I saw him, he was the one to come home with me."
Here he is sitting in her red velvet chair looking very angelic.

Taken with a refurbished Olympus digital camera that I bought on eBay. 2.5 megapixels, 43 mm lens, auto focus. I used natural light and cropped it a little.

Because this show calls for Black and White I stuck to the purest of no color and gray scaled the photograph to insure this. I prefer and enjoy the challenge of pure B&W.
