On a chilly morning I looked out my window and noticed this once-lovely feral cat sitting quietly staring up at me from deep inside her hunger. She's but one of many dumped off along our country road. Too wild now to ever trust humans again.
Long damp fur disquised her thin frame but her haunted eyes and tattered ears told a different story. I can never help wondering to myself,
"How could anyone just throw you away?"
I keep one of these prints framed on my own wall to remind me to feed the strays too.
It's not their fault.
PRINTS~available at my Etsy shop.
The print is from my original watercolor and is slightly larger than the original, (which is still available) on white, textured, acid-free, 90 lb. paper from St. Cuthberts, Somerset, that I purchase from England for it's exceptional quality.
Customers tell me they enjoy the fine "hand" of this paper. It measures 8.25" x 11.5". Unframed. Fits an11"x14" mat and frame.
