The title of this painting is "I can't tell you” representing the phenomenon called Ego death, where one is separated from their own identity. It is a place where you do not recognize yourself as human, animal, or vegetable. You are a single beam of light projected into this reality to experience its existence. I created this painting over a 3 year period while reading the Tibetan book of the Dead and contemplating my own existence and my place in the world.
